Ali is with the Quran, and the Quran is with Ali

I heard the Prophet (PBUH) say: "Ali is with the Quran and the Quran is with Ali, they will never separate until they reach me at the Fountain of Kauthar”

This hadith is sahih.

Ref: Al-Mustadarak Ala Al-Sahiheen, volume 3, page 134, hadith 226/4628.



"Ali is with the Quran and the Quran is with Ali, they will never separate until they reach me at the Fountain of Kauthar”

And the author comments this hadith:
 
and he (Ali) was the most knowledgeable of all people about its interpretation. Mawla Khasraw Rumi said: ”When al-Qadhi said: he collected in his interpretation what he knew about the great among the companions” - by the – great - he meant Ali, Ibn Abbas, A'badillah, Ubayy and Zayd. He said: and their leader is Ali, so that Ibn Abbas said: whatever interpretation I took is from Ali…"

From Umm Salamah she said: I heard the Prophet (PBUH) say: "Ali is with the Quran and the Quran is with Ali, they will never separate until they reach me at the Fountain of Kauthar”

From Umm Salamah she said: I heard the Prophet (PBUH) say: "Ali is with the Quran and the Quran is with Ali, they will never separate until they reach me at the Fountain of Kauthar”

And then the Prophet (PBUH) took Alis hand and said:  "This Ali, is with the Quran and the Quran is with Ali, they will never separate until they reach me at the Fountain of Kauthar”
